The electric plants became a daily occurrence for each citizen and it is necessary to know the safety rules, to be aware of their potential risk and of the contribution to the establishment of an adequate attitude and behaviour, particularly that of under-age children and pupils.
The dissemination of knowledge about electricity, installations and the norms of electrical safety are an efficient solution to prevent the cases of electrocution.
Given that only awareness can model a proper behaviour in terms of observance of rules of electrical safety, RED UNION FENOSA intended to organize activities for dissemination of knowledge and training as a way of preventing the potential accidents at installations involving children. Having a basic concept, children will be able to detect a risk, to avoid it and to inform the relevant authorities about it. Only awareness will help them be definitely protected.

*** ÎUNION FENOSA company performs the activity of distribution and supply of electric power in the Central and Southern regions of the Republic of Moldova. The services provided to customers are very important for the entire society.
The activities of the energy sector imply the use and operation of some installations which ensure the implementation of the whole process, from the generation of energy up to its consumption. In this way, the Company holds and operates tens of thousands of installations of different voltage: electric air lines and underground lines, transformers, electric power stations, distribution installations etc.
All the mentioned installations are required for the distribution of the electric power, but, at the same time, may present a risk for people when the safety rules are not observed in their safety area. Every year, the enterprise registers cases of electrocution in its electric network.
According to the statistic data, the large majority of electrocutions are not accidents, but, on the contrary, they are the results of inadequate behaviour of persons who either don’t know the safety norms at the installations, or ignore them, by underestimating the risk they are subjected to.
